A tip in controlling food consumption

One day after training I was searching the cupboards and fridge for something nice to eat. I was very hungry and started nibbling on one thing, then found something else and ate that, then went into the fridge to hunt down more food. As I was looking in the fridge a bottle of milk caught my eye, there was only a mouthful left and being a little thirsty I thought it would be a good idea to finish it off. I unscrewed the top and lifted the milk bottle towards my mouth but just as it reached my mouth I caught the smell, the milk was off!

The smell was horrendous; I immediately pushed it away and tipped it down the sink. However what I noticed was the experience actually killed my appetite, yes ten minutes later I did eat but it was only a fraction of what I would normally eat after a hard training session. This horrible smell actually caused me to eat less food. I thought this would make a great little tip for people trying to lose weight, as when some of us try to cut down on eating it sometimes causes a ravenous appetite, which may cause us to eat a little more at meal times. But if we had something near by that had an awful smell it may help some of us cut down. Whatever is used to smell could be anything as long as it is awful to the individual and also safe and not dangerous to others or pets around the house. In my case sour milk worked fine!!
